Kilmer Square

The Kilmer Square Revitalization Project transforms the interior of a retail and office complex to harmonize with the vibrant outdoor community space at Kilmer Square Park, where tenants and locals socialize, enjoy farmer’s markets, and attend afternoon music performances. By extending the building’s industrial “Brooklyn” aesthetic—characterized by aged red brick and industrial light fixtures—into the interior, the design reinforces a historic yet modern atmosphere through enhanced brick elements, black trim accents, updated finishes, new lighting, and reimagined ceiling treatments. The green wall and stair skylight become striking focal points, while a proposed art gallery adds cultural depth, with 3D renderings showcasing redesigned entry points and the main atrium to create a cohesive, inviting space that draws the park’s vitality inward and fosters community connection.
